Welcome to Photopassage. I’m Julian, the eyes behind the lens.
Originally from Singapore, I moved to the United States to pursue my creative calling. I am currently a Film major at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, focusing on Directing and Cinematography.
For me, the transition from the tropical vibrancy of Singapore to the misty, cinematic atmosphere of the Pacific Northwest has been more than a change of scenery—it’s been a transformation of my visual soul.
My Vision: The Director’s Eye
In my studies at Cornish, I spend my days learning how to command the screen and tell stories through moving images. However, I believe that every great director must first master the art of the still frame. Photopassage is my personal “visual laboratory.” It’s where I explore the Mise-en-scène, experiment with lighting, and capture the raw emotions of life before they become part of a larger narrative.
My ultimate dream is to become a visionary director, creating films that resonate globally. This website is a record of that journey—a bridge between my academic training in film and my lifelong passion for photography.
What Photopassage Offers You:

- Technical Mastery: In-depth tutorials on camera operations and post-processing (Lightroom/DaVinci Resolve).
